Work of the 1970's Important radiating oval brooch in yellow gold 750‰ centered on a claw-set faceted oval kunzite, in a double setting of stylized foliate decoration, the first paved with brilliant-cut diamonds, the second alternately adorned with cabochon oval turquoise and cabochon pear lapis lazuli. Pins in yellow gold 750‰. Kunzite weight: 35 to 40 carats approx. Dimensions: 5.5x5.2cm. P. Gross: 51.8g. (Claw-set center stone to be restored). With its size, play of textures and color associations, our brooch is reminiscent of the work of Boucheron and Van Cleef & Arpels in the 1970s.
