MAUBOUSSIN Paris Ribbon bracelet in yellow gold 750‰ with relief-pressed polished fabric mesh stylizing irregular lozenges on a satin background. Slide clasp and safety hook. Signed "MAUBOUSSIN PARIS" and numbered "A0712". French work, diamond-shaped hallmark of Atelier Maurice LABARTE. Wrist circumference: 17cm. Mesh width: 1.2cm. P. : 61,3 g. In the 1960's and 1970's, Maurice LABARTE, an artisan jeweler and chain-maker, produced exclusive pieces for Atelier Georges LENFANT, notably using the "paillette" mesh process. In the 1970s, Jacques LENFANT and Maurice LABARTE jointly registered several patents for manufacturing processes and new jewelry chains (notably for "optical" effect pressed mesh), underlining the dynamism and importance of their partnership. Our bracelet, produced more recently, underlines the Atelier's talent for creating pressed and textured meshes.
