Created in 1934, the "Flammes" clips are emblematic creations of the House of Van Cleef & Arpels.
Crafted in gold or platinum, set with pavé diamonds or punctuated with star-set gemstones, and often worn in pairs or trios, these motifs stand out for the variety of ways in which they can be worn, adorning the lapel of a garment, a hat or a hairstyle. Jacqueline Kennedy, who owned several, also used them to embellish pearl necklaces.
