French work from 1820-1830 Yellow gold 750‰ folding faceplate with guilloché decoration, centered on an octagonal cartouche with polychrome enameled floral decoration on a black background. Embellished with a suspension ring allowing it to be worn as a pendant. Small guarantee mark (ram's head), Paris, Period 1819-1838. Dimensions when closed - without bezel: 7.4x2.1cm. P. Gross weight: 26.8 g. (The enamel is slightly missing).
