Historical background: Designed for the Adidas Sport Café in Toulon in 1997. Ron Arad imagined a set of ten cantilevered tables set against a succession of carbon-fibre tubes, allowing international soccer matches to be viewed on LCD screens. The latter relayed them to the giant interactive wall, which broadcast them via satellite relay. All these tables were signed and numbered, and constitute the only existing production.
