ATO - House founded by Léon HATOT (1883 - 1953) René LALIQUE (1886 - 1945), attributed to Clock presented for the maiden voyage of the Normandie liner in 1935. Round-shaped in molded bluish glass, with central decoration of the liner on a bas-relief sunburst background. Around the dial, capital letters NORMANDIE mark the hours. The set rests on a wave-shaped glass base. Signed on back: "ATO - MADE IN FRANCE" and "Cie Gle TRANSATLANTIQUE FRENCH LINE" on base H : 15 cm Note: Offered on the occasion of the liner's maiden voyage on May 29, 1935.
