Page, [mid-18th c.], 1 copper-engraved map, ca. 46 x 57 cm. on sheet ca. 47 x 61 cm. hand-colored (minor restorations). Nautical chart of New York Harbor, by Mark Tiedmann, printed for I. Mount and T. Page , first published in 1732 in the fourth book of The English Pilot, which went through numerous editions between 1671 and 1803. It illustrates New York with the districts of Harlem and Westchester, and also shows Staten Island and part of Long Island. It features a compass rose. (Augustyn & Cohen p. 66-67).
