In-16, [VIII]-401 p., half red chagrin with period corners, spine with 5 raised bands, author and title in gilt, compartments decorated with gilt fleurons, double gilt fillet on covers, gilt head (stains on corners, slight foxing on endpapers and edges).
Provenance: Marius Demiéville (autograph dispatch from the author to the false title); enriched with an autograph postcard signed by the author to the same. A fine, well-bound copy.
