Rare first edition of this collection of 44 lithographs based on drawings by archaeologist and historian of Islamic architecture P.-J. Girault de Prangey (1804-1892). The work is divided into 3 parts. Volume 1. Mosque of Cordoba. General interior views, details and plans. [2] f. (title, text), 8 plates (pl.6 miscalculated 3). - Volume 2 - The Giralda and Alcazar of Seville. [2] f. (title, text), 6 plates. - Volume 3 - Memories of Granada and the Alhambra. [7] f. (title, text, table), 30 plates. Only this last part is dated 1837. Some plates bear a small dry stamp with the author's coat of arms.
