[Savoie]. JAILLOT (Hubert). Les estats de Savoye et de Piemont présenté a Monseigneur le duc de Bourgogne A Amsterdam, chez I. Covens et C. Mortier, [early 18th century]. 1 copper-engraved map (64 x 54 cm.), contours colored at the time (slight marginal dampening and cracking, small restoration and a wormhole in the upper margin). A highly decorative map of Savoy by Jaillot. It highlights the regions around the western Alps on the border between France and Italy. It extends as far north as Lake Geneva and as far south as Nice and the Genoese Sea. The map is bordered on the right and left by 22 vignettes showing the region's coat of arms, and features a large title cartouche.
