[Paris]. FELIBIEN (Michel), LOBINEAU (Guy-Alexis). Histoire de la ville de Paris A Paris, chez G. Desprez & J. Desessartz, 1725. 5 volumes in-folio, contemporary marbled havana calf, 6-ribbed spine, red and fawn titles and giblets, red edges (moderate wear, including uncovered headpieces and dull corners; foxing, worm damage in margin of t.3, plan lacking). Edition revised, enlarged and updated by Dom Lobineau. It is illustrated with a frontispiece engraved by Simonneau after Hallé and 26 illustrations in 36 plates, some assembled, and a map of Paris (absent here). The illustrations are in volumes 1 and 2, while the other 3 contain the supporting documents. Provenance: N.-D. de Mongré free school in Villefranche (modern stamp on titles).
