[Manuscript]. [Marseille]. Rade Isles and surroundings of Ma - Lot 91
[Manuscript]. [Marseille]. Rade Isles and surroundings of Marseille. 1 manuscript plan, [18th c.], 38.5 x 51 cm. on sheet 41.7 x 52.5 cm. ink and watercolor on paper (tiny crack to lower margin; one fold to right with very slight browning). Beautiful plan illustrating the Marseille coastline from Cap Pinède to Cap Gros. It shows the old port, Notre-Dame de la Garde, and the surrounding islands in the Mediterranean, and depicts in particular the plan for a planned lazaretto on Ratonneau Island. Traces of stitching in lower margin.
