[Manuscript]. [Loire-Atlantique and Western France]. School - Lot 84
[Manuscript]. [Loire-Atlantique and Western France]. School balloon contest. Drawn up with the help of Brossellier Auguste, age 13. S.l., [c. 1940]. Handwritten card, in ink and gouache on paper approx. 65 x 49 cm. (traces of folds, small cracks repaired on v°, traces of tacks in margin).
Curious and amusing cartographic representation of the route followed by balloons, sent by young people, no doubt as part of an educational activity, from the commune of Blaison-Gohier (Maine-et-Loire). The map indicates which balloons were recovered, and the distance covered, the longest of which was 304 kilometers.
