"Orchard in Spring" testifies to Montezin's observational skill with nature, its light and the seasons. This is a view of a village and its bell tower, probably in Seine-et-Marne, near his home in Veneux-Les-Sablons; a clear, transparent early spring morning light warms the earth and fruit trees already covered with white blossoms.
