CARTIER, "Les Indes Galantes" Collection, 1990s Articulated tie necklace in three-tone 750‰ gold centered with a leaf-cut chrysoprase motif topped with brilliant-cut diamonds. Ratchet clasp and safety hook. Signed "© CARTIER 1990" and "Cartier", numbered "917918". French work, diamond hallmark of Atelier Sté Michel BRASIER. Length: 43cm. Tie height: 4.2cm. P. Gross weight: 51.5g. With Maison de la Maison red morocco case. Since the 1910s, India has been an essential source of inspiration for the House of Cartier. In the 1990's, Cartier revisited the oriental themes so dear to Louis Cartier, notably through the "Indes Galantes" collection, from which our bracelet is derived (shall we repeat the text already quoted above?).
