New edition of this important account, which first appeared in Saragossa in 1585. It contains one of the very first descriptions of the Philippines published in the West, as well as extensive information on China and Central America. The second part (from page 295) contains the Itinerario of Father Martin Ignacio, who traveled from the Canary Islands to China, via Jamaica, Cuba, Puerto Rico and Mexico.
