French edition of this important narrative based on the English original published in 1589, The famous voyage of Francis Drake into the south sea, translated by F. de Louvencourt. According to Henry Raup Wagner, the second part entitled Des singularitez remarquées aux isles & terres fermes du midy, & des Indes orientales... is a fiction.
