FRED Paris, "Panther Paws" Collection Open bangle bracelet stylizing a reclining Panther in yellow gold 750‰, its front paws crossed, its coat textured, its spots stylized by black lacquer, its eyes set with round faceted emeralds and highlighted with 8/8-cut diamonds. Opening by tilting hinge, with safety pin. Signed "FRED Paris". French work, diamond hallmark of Atelier GEORLAND. Wrist circumference: 16cm. Width of motif: 3.7cm. P. Gross weight: 61.4g. (Chips, small enamel chips). The "Pattes de Panthère" collection was launched in the 1960s by the Maison FRED. Grace Kelly herself, a great lover of the Maison Fred, owned the ring in this series and counted it among her fetish jewels. It became emblematic, and was continued and enriched over the following decades. In 2019, Maison Fred has developed new models inspired by these mottled patterns in its "Feline Shadow" collection.
