CARTIER, Design by Jane Hutcheson, "Panier de fraises", Years 1960-1970 Decorative object in exempted 800‰ vermeil stylizing a basketwork basket adorned with a bouquet of wild strawberries au naturel enameled green, red and white, the pistils enhanced with glass paste beads. Signed "© Cartier HAND MADE Sterling". Label under the base "Design by Jane Hutcheson for Cartier". Dimensions: 12x14x6.5cm. P. Gross weight: 576.2 g. (Missing enamel). In the 1980s-1990s, Jane Hutcheson - in collaboration with Maison Gorham - produced a series known as "Flowers of the Centuries". This series produced a large number of natural bouquets, presented in baskets, vases or planters with a variety of changing designs. These floral arrangements, with their timeless charm, were notably produced for the Maison Cartier.
