Louis-Philippe period Yellow gold 750‰ chatelaine with partially openwork decoration of palmettes and floral motifs in translucent polychrome enamel on a guilloché ground, on a black enamel base. 800‰ vermeil keyboard and pin, gilt metal crown. Later transformations, crown and keyboard. Overall dimensions: 18x4.4cm. Gross weight: 43.1g. (Some missing enamel). In a red morocco case engraved "M.V." and signed Gustave SANDOZ, not original.
