Joseph-André MOTTE (1925-2013) Three-seat sofa with curved structure forming an armrest back and seat entirely covered with brown leather, resting on a rectangular recessed base in exotic wood veneer Unique piece, circa 1970 H: 78 cm - W: 205 cm - 85 cm (Chips on the base) Provenance: Private collection, Madame M.S. History: The current owner's family were close friends of their upholsterer René Fumeron. He introduced them to Joseph-André Motte in the late 1960s. The sofa and armchairs presented here are unique pieces created for the family in the 1970s, when he had his architectural practice near Parc Montsouris.
