French work circa 1900 Yellow gold 750 thousandths collar watch. Case: round (30mm), 750 thousandths yellow gold bowl signed "GRENARD A BESANCON", underlined by ribboned pearled friezes, back decorated with a knotted garland set with rose-cut diamonds. Dial: white enamel, Arabic numerals, minute track, small seconds at 6 o'clock, gilded "Louis XVI" hands. Movement: hand-wound mechanical. Horsehead hallmark, Departments, 1838-1919. P.
