Smooth 750 thousandths yellow gold cock watch, 585 thousandths yellow gold suspension ring.
Case: round domed (46mm).
Dial: white enamel, Roman numerals, Arabic numerals from five to five and chemin de fer for the minutes, gilded Louis XVI hands.
Movement: mechanical with cock, key winding through the dial, signed and numbered "Jam Cowan Edinburgh n°520". London hallmarks on the case (Crowned Leopard head and Lion passant), letter-date "P" for 1770.
