Founded in 1949, the Swiss Maison DeLaneau distinguished itself in the watchmaking industry from 1970-1980 for its particularly creative and innovative designs.
This watch, remarkable for its dimensions, is typical of the daring watchmaking creations of the 1970s, aimed in particular at the Anglo-Saxon market.
The twisted, textured work on each link is reminiscent of the manufacturing techniques of the Atelier Georges LENFANT. This workshop was equally prolific in women's watchmaking in the 1960s and 1970s.
