Jacques LENFANT created several jewelry models for the Maison Hermès, including the essential "Boucle Sellier" and "Chaîne d'ancre tressée". This much rarer "Frégate" model draws its inspiration from the world of the navy - dear to the Maison Hermès - and is referenced in Jacques Lenfant's "Le Livre de la Chaîne" under the example of the bracelet (Editions Scriptar SA, 1996, p. 134).
