D'APRES CERVANTES. THE NOVEL OF DON QUIXOTE IN CERAMICS. - Lot 272
D'APRES CERVANTES. THE NOVEL OF DON QUIXOTE IN CERAMICS. Brousse-le-Château, Claire Vincent, 2015. A 16 cm x 22 cm x 5 cm book in heavy polychrome ceramic with gradations of blue and ochre tones. It is closed by two large clasps. The spine bears the title of the novel and the author's name. The dishes suggest Don Quixote and Sancho Pança in an apocalyptic landscape. A truly unreal, almost aquatic vision! We're in another world. This contemporary ceramic is signed CV (Claire Vincent).
