CERVANTES. DON QUIXOTE DE LA MANCHE. - Lot 265
CERVANTES. DON QUIXOTE DE LA MANCHE. Paris, Delagrave, [1962] One volume in-4° in publisher's illustrated boards. Edition illustrated by Bailly; the illustrations are in two colors (green and black). Published in the 1960s, this work was used as a prize, as indicated by a prize distribution label dated 1969. First prize awarded to Jean-Philippe Lhuillier by the école d'application de la rue de Musset in the sixteenth arrondissement. Shortly afterwards, the classical notes and prizes disappeared, and editions of Le Quichotte for children became rare.
