This is an adaptation in the form of a Comédie lyrique in 5 acts by Henri Cain, with music by Massenet. The cover is illustrated with a large lithograph depicting a windmill. [We enclose] An in-8° hardback program from the Théatre Lyrique municipal de la Gaité for December 1910. This was Don Quichotte, comedy in five acts, poem by M. Henri Cain (after Le Lorrain) Music by M. Massenet. The cast was as follows: La belle Dulcinée, Mlle Lucy Arbell; D. Quichotte, M. Marcoux and Sancho, M. Lucien Fugère. Illustrated with three illustrations by Coypel, Doré. [We also enclose] The December 1986 issue of Avant Scène (no. 93). A remarkable study of Cervantes, Massenet's opera and Pabst's 1932 film.
