Four tomes in four volumes in-4° (XVIII-307 pp // 327 pp // 3 ff, 366 pp // 2 ff, 374 pp, 1 f), red half-chagrin with corners, smooth spines decorated with double fillet, gilt heads (20th century binding). A fine copy. Translation by Francis de Miomandre, illustrated by Berthold Mahn and enriched with a facsimile letter from the illustrator to his publisher and a filled-in map of Don Quixote's itinerary. Palau, 53011 does not mention the illustrations, which, with their dramatic "end of a world" character, are once again in harmony with Cervantes' text.
