SOBRINO (Francisco). SPANISH AND FRENCH GRAMMAR. Paris, Belin, Leprieur, Ledentu, Busqueta, 1809. One volume in-12 (480 pp), full porphyre calf, finely decorated smooth spine, gilt laces on inner and outer boards (period binding). A fine copy, despite rubbed spines. New edition of this famous grammar revised and corrected by M. Busqueta, a native Spaniard and professor of Latin, Spanish and Italian. It is followed by a Spanish and French dictionary. Published in the same context as Merle's, it was intended to introduce Spanish to certain French people on the spot. It is an updated version of a successful grammar published in 1697.
