Jean & Pierre BELLIN, Années 1970 Necklace composed of six twisted rows of white cultured pearls and angel-skin coral balls, stylized leafy attachments in yellow gold 750 thousandths holding, by an engraved onyx ring, a removable "Pompon" pendant with multiple tassels worked in coordinates. French work, diamond-shaped hallmark of the Atelier. Diameter of pearls: approx. 4mm. Necklace length: 46cm. Pendant height: 9.5cm. P. Total gross weight: 134.8g. The Atelier Jean & Pierre BELLIN was particularly active from the 1960's to the 1990's, creating spectacular jewelry and timepieces with volume and engraved hard stones. Their taste for decorative stones and colorful combinations is reflected in this "Pompon" pendant necklace. Smooth, engraved or even gadrooned, coral and onyx combine with textured and pearled gold, making this piece a style statement characteristic of the 1970s in French jewelry design.
