Mahogany and mahogany veneer bureau-bonheur du jour, decorated with brass framing fillets, opening at the waist with a drawer forming a writing desk trimmed in fawn leather, the upper part adorned with a mirror surmounted by a veined white marble top with openwork gallery supported by two fluted columns darkened in brass. The tapered fluted legs are joined by a scalloped crotch shelf.
