A blackened wood clock with a silvered ring-shaped dial with black Roman numerals, and a finely chased and gilded bronze center and surround decorated with foliate scrolls. It is topped by an angel slaying a dragon, the lower part adorned with a cartouche featuring a dog. It stands on flattened ball feet. Italy (?), early 18th century (the movement is reported). Height: 36 cm. Cracks (Accident at the top of the bezel).
