CHARLES GORET, XVII-XVIIIe siècle Onion watch in 800 thousandths silver and gilt brass. Case: round domed (54mm), inlaid with piqué decoration. Dial: white enameled and centered with polychrome enameled foliage, Roman numerals, minute track, steel hands. Movement: mechanical, verge escapement, fusée chain and large chased and pierced foliage cock, signed "GORET à ABBEVILLE" (received master in 1689). P. Gross weight: 134.8 g. (As is).
