Large in-8, havane morocco, spine with 4 raised bands, gilt author and title, sandy moiré satin lining and endpaper, morocco spine flaps decorated with 3 gilt fillets and a green morocco listel, gilt painted paper double endpaper, gilt edges on witnesses, case [R. Blaizot] (cracks to case). First edition illustrated with 16 burins by Tavy Notton. Limited edition of 250 copies, this one unjustified but corresponding to the description of the 5 copies of the 3rd paper (after 2 copies on japon ancien and impérial): printed on Rives teinté, including an original copperplate mounted on the upper flyleaf, an original drawing (accompanied by the corresponding illustration printed on silk), a double suite of illustrations on japon ancien and B.F.K., and the final proof of the frontispiece.
