FEIJOO (Samuel). La Hoja del poeta (1942-1956). Cuba, s.n., - Lot 175
FEIJOO (Samuel). La Hoja del poeta (1942-1956). Cuba, s.n., 1957. In-8, 114 p., green basane, 5-ribbed spine, gilt author and title (some rubbing on the edges of the headbands and corners).
Rare work by Cuban painter and poet Samuel Feijóo (1914-1992), dedicated to Robert Altmann (1915-2017), avant-garde publisher who founded the Brunidor publishing house in New York in 1947, and art collector who spent part of his life in Cuba. Autograph letter signed by the poet, dated July 1957, probably to the dedicatee.
The poet has mentioned by hand on the last page: "Esta es la primera edición de este libro considerada el más hermosamente impreso (papel, tipografia) en Cuba".
