(One headband broken, the other worn, title-piece missing, some soiling to plates with stains in upper margin, small light wetness in upper margin of a few f., some foxing). Rare first edition of the French translation by the physician and apothecary Pierre Demours (1702-1795), of the first published work on polyps by the famous English naturalist Henry Baker (1698-1774). Illustrated with 22 plates.
