Large silver tripod pourer with broad twisted ribs, the grip on an acanthus mound, the spout underlined by a garland holding a falling medallion, the foot attachments in the form of a cartouche, the side handle in blackened wood. Marks of the Maison Commune de Douai, for 1789 on the three feet. Height: 29 cm Net weight: 1295 g No hallmarks on lid or body. Restorations, notably a piece on the bottom, small missing frétel, small cracks on the feet.
