Canvas... - Lot 9 - Gros & Delettrez
Contemplative of a world where "beauty can be found everywhere", Marie Fleur has been drawn to shapes of all kinds (shadows, spots, proportions, clouds, foliage) since childhood. It's always faces that reveal themselves - figurative or abstract. She draws her inspiration from her everyday life, and her environment is her stage set.) Marie inherited her taste for painting from her Lyonnais grandfather, who worked for the Lyonnais silk industry and left his mark among the painters of Saint-Tropez as early as the 50s.
In 2017, Marie made painting her main activity, encouraged by her family and friends to attend workshops at the Beaux Arts and the Arts Decoratifs. In 2023, she plucked up the courage to unveil her work, and her first exhibition in Lyon, held with her photographer friend Marie Allain, was a success.
Mainly a portrait painter, Marie Fleur's work is expressive and her instinctive style reflects her own sensitive, strong, painful or nostalgic emotions."
