Marie Allain - Lot 3

Marie Allain La Femme-Totem PRINT N° 4/5 SILVER PRINT ON DIBOND. AMERICAN OAK CRATE FRAME. 90X70 CM The story (by Marie Allain) "One day in September, on a wild beach in St-Tropez, I took the photo of the "Totem Woman". The beach was deserted, except for a handful of curious seagulls who seemed impatient to see what was going to happen. My muse Osy, naked and covered in coral, lay motionless in the hot sand, and then something surreal happened. Handprints began to appear on the sand around your model, as if spirits from the beach wanted to participate in the work. The seagulls, impressed, applauded with their wings. Finally, the photo was taken, Osy released from her position, and all of us, including the mysterious handprints in the sand...We had captured this unique moment, an experience as funny as it was surreal."
