ATELIER A edition Circa 1970 H : 43 cm - W : 90 cm - D : 80 cm François ARNAL (1924-2012) Painter and lithographer François Arnal began his career in Paris in the 1950s, participating in the lyrical abstraction and informal art movements. He pursued his formal research by tackling the medium of sculpture, and became a complete artist when he finally turned his hand to design. In 1968, he opened Atelier A, which produced the iconic objects and furniture of the 1970s.
