Trained as a goldsmith, Björn WECKSTRÖM (1935-) begins by working in gold and silver, and envisions his jewelry as miniature sculptures. Their forms are architectural and geometric, then tend towards more organic structures. From the 1970s onwards, he experimented with bronze, glass, plastic and marble to create larger-scale pieces.
