Catalan José Maria PUIG DORIA (1926-2006) founded his eponymous jewelry house in Barcelona in 1948. Winner of numerous awards and trophies, he is renowned for creating, in 1969, the first Spanish line of silver jewelry, with resolutely modernist shapes and adorned with new materials such as coconut, titanium, ebony and eggshell. PUIG DORIA is still in business today.
