Armand FERNANDEZ, known as ARMAN (1928-2005) "Tubes", 2001 Choker necklace pendant holding seven moving paint tubes in polychrome enameled aluminum. Signed "Arman" and dated "© 2001". Length: 43cm. (Enamel missing). Nice-born painter and sculptor ARMAN (1928-2005) lived and worked in Vence and New York. From the 1960s onwards, he applied his precepts of accumulation and destruction to the production of jewelry. In 2001, his "coulées de tubes" were revived, and are now worn as necklaces.
