From 1961, artist Georges BRAQUE (1882-1963) entrusted lapidary Henri-Michel HEGER de LÖWENFELD (1919-2000) with the task of translating some of his works into jewelry. Their collaboration gave rise to jewels described as "wearable art". These objects are three-dimensional translations of Georges Braque's drawings and gouaches, inspired by Greek mythology. The result of this collaboration was exhibited at the Pavillon de Marsan in 1963. Löwenfeld continued to produce jewelry after Braque's death in 1963.
