MARINA B, Collection « Pneu », Années 1980 Pair of 750 thousandths yellow gold earrings featuring two curved articulated pearls, one in onyx, the other interchangeable in synthetic yellow quartz, set off by an onyx cabochon. Systems for pierced ears, with pins and safety rackets. Accompanied by a set of blue-green synthetic spinel beads and a screwdriver. Signed "Marina B", monogrammed, dated "1987" and numbered "A394". Italian work. Height: 3.5cm. P. Gross weight: 38.8g. Eager to invent new ways of assembling and mounting pearls, Marina B launched the "Pneu" collection in 1987. The pearl's attachment - first in gemstones, then in quartz and synthetic stones - is made visible and easily removable, allowing interchangeable pearls to be played with.
