Late Panderma (Asia Minor, Turkey) early 20th century circa 1910. Wool velvet on cotton foundation. Natural wear, stains and oxidation. Prayer-shaped rug with crenellated mihrab, suspended oil lamp and surrounded by two scroll-shaped columns. Double spandrels with crenellated branches. Triple border, the main one called el maleh (stylized apples). 173 x 120 cm
