Knotted-stitch rug, wool pile on cotton foundation.
Natural oxidation and some mitring.
Empire-style design with a large salmon-pink central rectangle framed by four vase-shaped floral bulbs and inlaid with a large beige central circular medallion with a pastel-toned wreath of flowers, set against an ivory background with a succession of reserves featuring crenellated ram's horn-shaped foliage in sky-blue, old rose and almond green.
Beautifully balanced frame decorated with stylized arrows or fishbones.
Six borders, the main one in parma with scrolls of stems inlaid with stylized foliage.
