BULGARI, "Monete" Collection, 1970's - Rare and important necklace in yellow gold 750 thousandths with a drop curb chain centered on an antique silver coin (tetradrachma) with the profile of Alexander the Great mounted in a closed setting and octagonal frame. Reverse engraved "Alexander the Great 336-323 B.C.". Signed "BVLGARI". Length : 42cm. Gross weight: 181 g. The angular framing of the piece is typical of Bulgari's "Monete" collections of the 1970s.
