CARTIER London, Années 1950 - Articulated bracelet in 750 thousandths yellow gold composed of triple twisted round links alternating with grooved stylized knot links. Belgian work for Maison Cartier, numbers partially legible. English import hallmarks (letter "h", year 1957-1958) and Jacques CARTIER. Length: 19cm. Mesh width: 2.2cm. Weight: 79.8g. With a CARTIER case. An identical model is preserved in the collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and is on display in the Jewellery Rooms. Like our bracelet, the one in the V&A was made for the Maison Cartier, commissioned from a workshop in Belgium. References: Metalwork Collection, Accession number: M.134-1987.
